As Facilities Assistant, you will provide a quality customer service to all centre users. Being the face of the centre and key point of contact for all users, promote the sale of products and services within the centre, provide inspiring fitness coaching, advice, guidance and in some cases offer programmes to our customers. You will provide advice, guidance and programming whilst supporting with the retention of our customers and proactively support the sales team with gaining new members.
What you’ll do:

- To undertake the general duties, including:

- Dealing with general enquiries.
- Promoting good customer relations.
- Re-stock vending machines.
- Maintain cleaning standards.

- Assisting in marketing by ensuring that any promotional leaflets, brochures etc. are effectively displayed, and to assist in their production, as required.
- To follow all Health and Safety procedures whilst performing their duties.
- Maintain full product knowledge of the services available at the centre and advise customers accordingly.
- Adopt a pro-active approach to continuous service improvement.
- Supervise all customers to ensure the correct use of facility.
- Consistently and actively apply good housekeeping principles, such as turning off lights and equipment, when not in use, to contribute to our strategy to reduce utility consumption and carbon footprint.
- Monitor the centre’s facilities and report any defects to the Duty Manager
- Follow SSOW, manual handling and risk assessments for all set up tasks
- Such other related duties as from time to time may arise or be assigned by the Duty Manager.
