East Dunbartonshire Council’s Development & Investment Service has two vacancies for the post of Building Surveyor – Asset Management.

East Dunbartonshire Council’s Development & Investment Service is comprised of four teams with varying responsibilities related to the delivery of major capital projects across our Housing and Corporate Asset portfolios; building surveying, including decarbonisation; and new-build affordable housing development.

The Council seeks to appoint two qualified Building Surveyors who will report to the Team Leader – Asset Management and support the delivery of the Corporate Asset Management Plan by managing capital investment projects in the property estate, contributing to the management and development of the Council’s stock condition and property performance data and support the delivery of a building decarbonisation strategy for the Council’s corproate estate.

This exciting opportunity requires a candidate who can demonstrate experience of successfully undertaking a similar role previously; can demonstrate excellent communications and project management skills; and a sound technical understanding of key building surveying principles.

The post benefits from a hybrid working model with time split between home, office at the Council’s Broomhill Depot, Kirkintilloch and on-site.
