About the role:
We are seeking a friendly, organised, and proactive Front of House Supervisor / Administrative Assistant to join our team at QEH. This is a dual role combining hands-on operational supervision with high-quality administrative support. You’ll help ensure our hospitality service runs smoothly at both the school site and Failand Sports Ground while supporting office functions, record-keeping, and compliance.
You will be joining Holroyd Howe, one of the UK’s leading contract caterers, providing fresh, innovative food services solely to independent schools and colleges. We are a team of experienced professionals who tailor our catering service provision specifically to suit children of all ages in order to meet the bespoke requirements of each school.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver friendly, efficient service and maintain high standards of food presentation.
Support hospitality events and respond to customer feedback.
Assist with social media updates to showcase services and events.
Lead, motivate, and support the team.
Provide training, coaching, and maintain staff records.
Promote a respectful, collaborative team culture.
Assist with budgeting, stock control, and ordering.
Maintain accurate administrative records.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene standards.
Manage allergens and promote sustainability.
Keep work areas clean, organised, and safe.
Qualifications
Candidate Profile:
Experienced in front-of-house catering or hospitality operations, with strong customer service skills.
Confident leading, motivating, and supporting a small team.
Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
Knowledge of health, safety, food hygiene, and allergen management.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and confident in using office software.
Friendly, approachable, and professional, able to engage with clients, colleagues, and school communities.
