Summary
Job Opportunity: Interim Job Evaluation Lead
Location: West Midlands
Day Rate: £800-£1,000 per day (outside IR35)
Duration: 4-month contract (3 days per week)
We're supporting a major public sector organisation in Birmingham to deliver a high-impact Job Evaluation Programme and are seeking multiple experienced Job Evaluation Leads to join as interims/consultants. With approximately 500-600 unique roles to evaluate, this is a fast-paced, high-profile piece of work requiring confident, capable professionals who can hit the ground running.
✅ What We're Looking ForWe need seasoned practitioners with:
- Extensive experience in job evaluation at a senior or corporate level
- A consultancy background, ideally with a portfolio-style career
- Strong facilitation skills and the ability to work at pace across complex organisations
- The capability to train and upskill 12 internal facilitators
- Flexibility to work in a hybrid model, with some face-to-face time in Birmingham
Note: Experience with a specific job evaluation methodology is not required. The organisation uses a customised approach, so if you understand the principles and can adapt, you're the kind of person we want to hear from.
