Summary

Join Our Team as an SEN Tutor - Make a Lasting Impact!  
Hourly Rate: £25-£30 per hour (PAYE) - Case dependent
Location: SG8 and surrounding areas (Hybrid: Face-to-Face & Remote)
Working Days: Monday to Friday (Term-Time Only)
Role Focus: One-to-One Tutoring for SEN, SEMH, and complex needs

Are you passionate about transforming lives through education?  

We are looking for a dedicated SEN Tutor to support a Year 7 male student with a range of complex needs including ASD, ADHD, PTSD, and more. This hybrid role combines face-to-face sessions in the SG8 area with remote tutoring, offering flexibility and the chance to make a meaningful difference.

What You Will Do:  

Create Safe Spaces: Build a trusting, supportive environment that encourages academic and emotional growth.

Personalise Learning: Deliver tailored Maths and English sessions aligned with the student's unique needs and strengths.

Support Families: Work collaboratively with families to ensure consistent progress and holistic support.

Inspire Growth: Use engaging, empathetic teaching strategies to boost confidence, resilience, and achievement.

Be a Role Model: Promote positive behaviours and lifelong learning through your guidance and example.

What You Bring:  

  • Experience working with children with SEN, particularly ASD, ADHD, and PTSD
  • Strong subject knowledge in KS3 Maths and English
  • Proven ability to deliver engaging one-to-one sessions
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
  • Legal right to work in the UK
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and SEN best practices
