Summary
Qualifications/ Registrations Essential Criteria Registered Mental Health Nurse with post qualification experience Current registration with relevant professional body (NMC) Skills/Abilities Essential Criteria Excellent verbal and written communication skills Competency in managing challenging behaviours and ability to de-escalate Ability to maintain boundaries and form positive therapeutic relationships with service users and carers Experience/ Knowledge Essential Criteria Apply clinical knowledge and experience to provide education to facilitate patients in developing an understanding of their mental health problems and, working in a patient centred way helping them develop life skills and coping strategies. Demonstrate robust knowledge of risk management and its application to service user, carer and staff safety. Demonstrate a clear understanding of your own role and that of others within the multi -professional team
