We are currently recruiting for a variety of different teaching positions in SEN Schools across The Wirral and Cheshire areas.

The role of a SEN Teacher is perfect for teachers looking to continue or gain experience working with children with a variety of Special educational Needs, supporting and inspiring young students in a fulfilling and supportive environment.

The ideal candidate must have/be able to:

  • Plan and teach lessons in your chosen subject tailored to the level and abilities of the students in your classroom in line with curriculum requirements
  • Work effectively with colleagues within the classroom and wider school environment
  • Recent experience of teaching children with profound and complex learning needs .
  • Knowledge of child development and relevant attainment levels
  • A passion for teaching and a commitment to nurturing the children in your care
  • Ability to support each child's specific learning and development in a creative and flexible way
  • Maintain discipline through employing various classroom management techniques in line with the school's behaviour management policy

It is essential that you have:

  • A recognised teaching qualification (such as BA QTS, PGCE etc) NB NQTs, QTLS holders and overseas qualified teachers are welcome to apply
  • Excellent behaviour management skills
  • A strong work ethic and a professional attitude
  • The motivation to achieve and add value to the school
