The Role:
As an Assistant Project Manager, you will be the right-hand person to an experienced Project Manager, providing crucial support across all stages of project delivery. This role is designed to be a comprehensive training ground, where you will gain hands-on experience and be mentored with the clear goal of molding you into a future Project Manager. Your excellent administrative skills will be vital to the team's success.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage all project paperwork with meticulous attention to detail, including RFIs, sub-contractor correspondence, and daily reports.

Assist the Project Manager with developing and maintaining project programmes, budgets, and schedules.

Coordinate project information and documentation, ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date.

Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and the design team to ensure smooth project flow.

Attend site meetings and take accurate meeting minutes, ensuring all actions are clearly documented and followed up on.

Support the Project Manager with site logistics, health and safety documentation, and quality control checks.

Proactively identify and flag potential issues or delays to the Project Manager.

Assist with the snagging and handover process.
Candidate Requirements:

An enthusiastic, eager-to-learn character with a strong desire to build a career in project management.

Exceptional organisational and administrative skills, with a proven ability to manage paperwork and documentation effectively.

A natural problem-solver with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A basic understanding of the construction process is desirable, though a genuine passion for the industry is key.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential.

Valid CSCS card is required.

Valid First Aid certificate is a plus.
