About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Sales Administrator, responsible for global shipments, to join our busy sales office team on the outskirts of Truro.
The role will ideally suit an individual with experience in international shipping and customs procedures (predominantly USA, Eastern Europe, Ukraine and Southern Hemisphere Countries) and is used to working in a busy office environment, preferably with an understanding of the agricultural machinery industry.
Job Summary
Supporting our Export Sales team to facilitate machine and parts shipments to our global distributor network. Close and proactive liaison with the Sales Teams, Accounts, and Manufacturing departments is essential for the smooth operation of the company, as is keeping the customer informed by email or phone at all stages of the process.
Requirements
- Experience in international shipping and customs procedures
- Experience of using Epicor (or similar manufacturing ERP system)
- Competent administration skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Proven background in a busy office environment, preferably within the agricultural machinery industry
- Professional/courteous customer communication skills, written and verbal
- Computer literacy, including proficient use of the Microsoft Office suite
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Proactive, problem-solving approach with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude
- Willingness to assist with other duties as and when required
