Summary

ctrg is looking for a passionate Shift Supervisor to join our client's site in Wisbech, PE13 2RN. Join a sustainable and innovative company that produces and distributes some of the most well-known food brands in the UK and US.

Pay rates and shifts as a Shift Supervisor:

  • Training rate - £12.50 p/h
  • Full rate - £14.60 p/h
  • Working Hours: Day Shift - 07:30-19:30 or Night Shift 19:30-07:30
  • Shifts: Working Days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
  • This role requires flexibility to work Weekends, day and night shifts, depending on operational needs.

Responsibilities as a shift supervisor:

  • Ensure that the induction and onboarding process is completed to the highest standards so that the candidate has an outstanding experience.
  • Through effective team management, ensure that contract demand for labour is booked and delivered in line with our KPI's.
  • Inspire excellence, ensure that the candidate has an acceptable level of conduct, attendance and performance.
  • Support training and onboarding of new team members.
  • Collaborate with other supervisors and management to improve processes and productivity.
  • Seek to provide positive feedback wherever appropriate, understand any development needs and provide training solutions while monitoring the progress.
  • Be approachable and visible to colleagues. Manage any complaint/inquiry to ensure such is adequately resolved in a timely manner.
  • Build relationships with our clients helping to build the reputation for the brand and company image.
  • Ensure that all activities meet with company and client policy, procedure and relevant legislation.
  • Accurately update all systems, trackers and logs in line with standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure completion of PDR every 6 months.
  • Be familiar and engage with company communications.
  • Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary to excel within the role

What we are looking for:

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work both day and night shifts.
  • Good understanding of health and safety practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Proficient in using operational systems ( Microsoft) and reporting tools.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service and handle complaints
  • Experience not strictly required, but would be highly beneficial.
