We currently have a great opportunity for a Multi-Skilled Repairs Operative to join our in-house maintenance team, Property Plus, on a temporary basis. We're looking for a dedicated professional to bring our values to life and ensure our customers receive outstanding services.
What you’ll do:
Carry out a variety of responsive repairs including plumbing, carpentry, plastering, and general building work.
Deliver excellent customer service while working in tenants’ homes.
Diagnose and prioritise repair tasks independently.
Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles to a high standard.
Participate in standby and overtime rotas.
What we’re looking for:
NVQ or City & Guilds qualification in a relevant trade; or time experience.
Full, clean driving licence as travel across Staffordshire and Shropshire will be part of the role.
Proven experience in multi-trade maintenance, ideally within social housing.
Working knowledge of current building regulations, construction industry safety regulations, relevant British standards and codes of practice.
A team player with great initiative and customer care skills.
