Summary
The successful candidates will be appointed on a 10 programmed activity contract comprising 9.0 DCC and 1.0 SPA. The on call frequency is 1:10 covering theatre and cath lab emergencies. This is subject to negotiation with the successful candidate, in terms of timing and content of sessions, subject to a maximum of 10 PAs. The list of duties will be altered to reflect changing needs of the post, subject to negotiation. It should be recognized that the job description reflects the core activity of the post at a particular time, as the department and individual develop there would inevitably be changes in the emphasis of the duties of the post.
