Summary
Assembly Operative – Aerospace near Uxbridge
Salary: £29,000 + Overtime
Hours: Mon–Thurs 8am–5pm | Fri 8am–12pm
9% employer pension
25 days holiday + bank holidays

As an Assembly Operative
Assemble & inspect mechanical parts to tight tolerances
Work from engineering drawings (GD&T)
Use calipers, micrometers, height gauges, CMM, and more
Support non-destructive testing
Use torque tools, jigs, and test rigs
The Assembly Operative must have:
Basic manufacturing/engineering background
Experience in mechanical inspection & assembly
Strong attention to detail
Experience in riveting using manual techniques
Understanding of aerospace standards & safety
Experience in running programs that test high pressure hoses
