Crynodeb

We have a vacancy in our Building Futures team, supporting and empowering young people in employment, and those with experience of care, to move on to independence across Bristol and South Gloucestershire. Working with young people in their homes, you will be part of a small, supportive team and will manage your own caseload.

Please find full details of how to apply via our website in the advert below. The deadline for application submissions is 23:59, Tuesday 9 September 2025

We are striving to better represent the young people we support and therefore are particularly keen to increase applications from Black, Muslim and male candidates as they are currently under-represented in our organisation. We also encourage applications from people with relevant lived experience.

If you need an adjustment to be made to any part of the recruitment process, please let us know as soon as possible.

Who are we?
We are a leading youth homelessness charity based in the Southwest, working with over 1,500 young people. What you will be doing:

• By adopting a flexible and creative approach to support, you will enable young people to build their independent living skills and develop their resilience.
• Through being committed to your work; you will use your initiative and you will take a proactive approach to problem solving.
• By adopting a confident approach, you will assess and support young people appropriately to manage risks.
• Being curious and keen to develop your skills and understanding, you will take steps to build on your working knowledge of housing management.
• Being vigilant and responsible, you will ensure our properties provide a safe and welcoming home environment for our young people.
• Through effective joint working with a range of external partners, you will ensure young people receive considered and consistent support in a way that works for them.
• By being well organised and efficient, you will maintain accurate and timely records to support effective and appropriate information sharing.

You will be in the Transitions and Resilience team and your line manager will be our Building Futures Team Leader.
