Summary

We are looking for a motivated individual with excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills who is dedicated to working as part of our friendly team.

We take pride in nurturing a supportive environment in which to work while ensuring we deliver a high quality service.

Understand the maintenance operational process and ensure that the CAFM system collects all relevant data to support the delivery of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance services.

As our Senior Technician, you will be at the forefront of performing highly complex activities on a range of Estates plant and systems, including PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance), Breakdowns and job requests both inside and outside of normal working hours, in order keep the Trust’s essential services running 24/7.

You will also be required to evaluate and respond appropriately and effectively to potential emergency situations, ensuring that safety of patients, colleagues and the general public is always the first priority.

So, if you have thorough knowledge and understanding of technical data, specifications and issues relating to a wide range of Estates plant, equipment and systems, we want to hear from you today!

As Senior Technician, you will:
• Effectively advise, instruct and train colleagues, and other groups, in the safe operation of equipment and systems.
• Liaise with Trust staff to discuss Estates work related issues and provide concise and detailed responses both verbally and in writing.
• Communicate complex technical and safety advice effectively with a wide range of groups including department colleagues, other Trust staff groups, contractors, patients, and the general public, particularly in a potential emergency situation.

We work together, and in conjunction with MSE Health and Care Partnership, to deliver excellent local and specialist services, to improve the health and wellbeing of our patients in a compassionate way, and provide a respectful, but vibrant place for staff to develop, innovate and build careers.

From facilities through to consultant specialists we want to be the best, to achieve this we need to recruit not just those who are the finest in their field but also those who have the potential to be. Yes, experience is important but so is outlook – if you are dynamic, forward-thinking and enthusiastic we want you to join us.

We not only offer you a good working environment with flexible working opportunities, but also the opportunity to develop your career with access to appropriate training for your job and the support to succeed and progress

Please see attached a full job description setting out the details of the role and responsibilities.

We look forward to your application.
