Summary

We are WR Fundraising Recruitment and we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Fundraiser to join a growing team at the South East Cancer Help Centre.

The organisation provides a range of support, therapy and activities to those affected by cancer and are looking to add to their fundraising team to maintain and forge new relationships within the local community and with corporate partnerships

We’re looking for a relationship focussed corporate partnerships and community fundraising professional to join the growing team. With a prominent cause in the spotlight, you will have the opportunity to develop a variety of relationships across the area, supporting the crucial work of this much-loved cancer charity.

Corporate & Community Fundraising Manager
Full Time, Permanent
Purley, Surrey / London border with hybrid and flexible working
Up to £39,000 per annum on experience

Duties will include:
• Build a pipeline of corporate business supporters in Surrey
• Engage with local businesses and organisations to actively develop supporters to donate income
• Work collaboratively on a variety of corporate partnerships including charity of the year, strategic partnerships and employee fundraising / volunteering
• Prepare and present high-quality new business proposals, pitches, and presentations to win new business
• Manage, monitor, and increase donations through community fundraising, community groups, schools, golf clubs, and other groups/clubs in Surrey
• Recruit participants for a range of fundraising events, including sponsored running and in-house bespoke events
• Support and recruit fundraisers and provide them with resources to maximise income
• Write and develop engaging marketing materials for support including social media, online content and e-shots
• Represent the charity at events, presentations and networking opportunities

Ideal candidates will have:
• Experience within a fundraising role specialising in community fundraising and/or corporate partnerships
• Experience in public speaking with the ability to hold a variety of audiences
• Ability to create and maintain key relationships with businesses’ and senior professionals
• Excellent networking skills
• A passion for fundraising
• The ability to work collaboratively in a small team.
• Drivers Licence and access to own vehicle
