Summary
We are seeking an Experienced Registered Manager to join our team and support with managing a Modern 2 bedded EBD Children’s in the Oldham area. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead from the front and manage the home supporting young people aged 8 –18 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties, while providing and safe and nurturing environment for Young People.
Duties
Oversee the day-to-day management of the Home.Lead, support, and develop staff teams to provide a therapeutic, child-centred environment.Maintain full compliance with Ofsted and Children’s Homes Regulations.Manage and personalise Care plans to each child to meet there needs andPromote structure, emotional regulation, and preparation for adulthood while providing a safe nurturing setting.Collaborate with local authorities, social workers, schools, health professionals, and families.Working knowledge of The Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and the ‘Guide to the Children’s Homes Regulations, including the Quality Standards 2015.Excellent knowledge of the Social Care Common Inspection Framework (SCCIF).
Qualifications
Proven experience in a managerial role within a Children's Residential setting.Level 5 in Leadership & Management in Children & Young People.Level 3 & 4 Diploma in Children's Residential.Proven track record with Ofsted achieving a ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ grading as a Registered Manager/Deputy Manager.Within the last 5 years, to have at least 2 years’ experience in a position relevant to the residential care of children.Worked for a least 1 year in a role requiring the supervision and management of staff working in a care role.Must have a valid UK Driving Licence and access to own Vehicle.
