Summary
The assessment and treatment of individuals presenting with acute oral and dental conditions; The assessment of patients for further treatment in specialist clinics and on undergraduate and dental therapy treatment andteaching clinics; The assessment and triage of patients requiring emergency treatment; To support the supervision of activity within the department and ensure that a high standard of patient care is maintained anddelivered; To support the clinical supervision and teaching of undergraduate dental students; To support the clinical supervision and training of junior staff; An active contribution to the continuing improvement of clinical service; An active participation/contribution to departmental audit and research activities, as appropriate; To enhance infection control by adoption of all appropriate measures, good professional practice and by following the Trustsinfection control policy; To ensure compliance with the Governments four-hour target for Accident & Emergency care
