We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to join our established team. Reporting to our Later Living Lead our Extra Care Manager will provide and collaborate with internal teams, local agencies, and community groups to deliver high-quality extra care services, ensuring effective housing management, contract coordination, and a safe, supportive environment for customers. The Extra Care Manger will provide strong on-site leadership, promoting community engagement, resolving extra care complaints, and fostering a positive team culture aligned with our values. In addition, we are looking for candidates that have a passion to advocate on behalf of people and communities.



What will our Extra Care Manager do;



Oversee the day-to-day management of our Extra Care Scheme, ensuring safe, well-maintained environments and professional housing services that support residents to live well.
Collaborate with care providers, catering services, local authorities, and other agencies to deliver an integrated support and ensure high standards of service delivery.
Manage voids, rent accounts, allocations, and tenancy sustainment, ensuring timely lettings, effective support planning, and compliance with MSV policies.
Promote the schemes within the community, support staff in showing potential customers and partner agencies around the schemes and encourage use of shared spaces to foster inclusion and wellbeing.
Provide line management to on-site teams, recruit and motivate staff, and lead by example to uphold MSV values and deliver excellent customer
What we are looking for;

Recent experience of managing vulnerable customers in a supported housing environment
Able to demonstrate knowledge of needs assessment of older people in an extra care setting
Awareness of tenancy and property management issues including voids, rent arrears, ASB, and tenancy management
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work proactively and under own initiative
Ability to prepare accurate, concise written reports and complete standard forms
Experience in the use of IT systems to deliver housing management services
