The Company
We are working with a range of well-established fabrication companies across Nottingham, all specialising in the production of high-quality sheet metal products for sectors such as civil engineering, construction, and manufacturing. Due to ongoing demand, we have multiple MIG Welder/Fabricator vacancies available with different clients offering excellent long-term prospects.
The Roles
Depending on the client, you will be involved in MIG welding sheet metal components, fabricating to precise engineering drawings, and performing multi-run welds to a high standard. Some roles may also include operating overhead cranes for material handling (training available).
Key Responsibilities

MIG welding sheet metal to a high-quality finish

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings accurately

Performing multi-run welds to exact specifications

Supporting other workshop and production tasks as required

Safely operating overhead cranes (desirable, training provided)
The Ideal Candidate

Apprentice-trained or time-served welder/fabricator
-
Skilled in MIG welding and sheet metal fabrication

Confident with technical drawings and fabrication processes

Quality-focused with strong attention to detail

Reliable, adaptable, and able to work in a team environment

Overhead crane experience an advantage
