Where will you be working?
We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.
This role will be within our Water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

M Group Water are proud to be a key partner on the Caledonia Water Alliance and will successfully and safely work with Scottish Water to jointly deliver SR21, a six-year water and wastewater infrastructure pan Scotland capital investment programme. 
What will you be doing?
M Group Water  is currently looking to recruit a Site Engineer to work on our Caledonia Water Alliance contract based in Glasgow.
As the Site Engineer you will be part of our team who are responsible for the design, construction and commissioning of a number of Waste Water projects, Scotland wide.
You'll timely and efficiently delivery of work activities and provide leadership to teams working on construction activities ensuring all work is carried out to the necessary specifications, RAMS and quality requirements.

You'll prepare method statements and risk assessments, and set out the works in accordance with the drawings and specification and liaise effectively with the construction supervisors and construction managers.

We'll need you to work collaboratively with clients and stakeholders and complete accurate information and records of the permanent works whilst providing support to the wider team.
What you’ll bring

- Do you have previous Site Engineering experience on waste water projects including pipelines and associated chambers, earthworks and excavations?
- Do you have experience on Pumping Station construction and trenchless works? This is desirable
- Are you someone who has excellent organisational, IT and communication skills?
- Do you hold CITB SMSTS or other recognised industry accredited safety management programme, CSCS card or EUSR Safety Health, Environmental (SHEA) passport scheme, (SHEA) Water, DOMS and national water hygiene. NEBOSH Construction/General Certificate, NRSWA?
- Can you demonstrate a clear focus on customer and stakeholder performance with a service excellence and performance focus?
