Job Description: Personal Assistant for a Lady who needs support in the local community.

Main Duties
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Personal Assistant to enable this lady to access the local community.

The role includes taking her shopping and visiting local cafés for coffee and any other similar activities of her choice. A car driver with own vehicle is essential for this role and must have business insurance.

Hours 6 hours per week, which will be used as 2 hours per day x 3 days. There is flexibility around which days the support takes place, as well as the times of day.

Rate of pay
· £13.74 per hour. Holiday entitlement is 5.6 weeks per year pro-rata.
· Any out-of-pocket expenses will be met by the employer and will be explained at interview.
· Benefit access, ILG PA, which will also be explained at interview.

Person Specification

The successful applicant must:
· Have a positive understanding, and genuine interest in supporting people who have additional needs and/or disabilities
· Be punctual, reliable and flexible
· Have a happy, positive and caring nature
· Respect confidentiality
· Ensure the safety of the client when out in the community

The successful candidate will require an Enhanced Certificate of Disclosure (DBS), cost to be met by employer.
