The post holder will work as part of the Neurodevelopmental Pathway Service, aimed at improving the care of children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other linked comorbidities across the city, both pre and post diagnosis.This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to join a new team of dedicated staff.
The post holder will assist in co-ordinating clinical and educational support including group sessions to support all staff, families and professionals.
This post will play a key role implementing interventions to promote the health and wellbeing of children, young people and the families affected by Autism, ADHD and other comorbidities. The post will assist the team in providing additional support for any child or young person pre and post Autism and ADHD diagnosis. They will be a main link for children within the Autism and ADHD pathway, working as an integral member of the multi-disciplinary team who will positively represent the needs and rights of children and young people in promoting equality.
