Long Term Futures is partnering with several welcoming and well-resourced primary schools across North London to recruit Teaching Assistants for the new academic year. We have opportunities across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, with roles including whole-class support, SEN assistance, behaviour mentoring, and targeted intervention delivery.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting pupils in class through tailored one-to-one or small group activities
- Implementing behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment
- Assisting with lesson planning and adapting resources to meet diverse needs
- Monitoring and recording pupil progress to contribute to assessment and target-setting
- Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in a primary school or early years setting (paid or voluntary)
- Recent graduates with a relevant degree encouraged to apply
- Understanding of the primary curriculum and child development
- A proactive, reliable, and flexible approach to school life
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
