As a Child / Young Person Support Worker, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing one-to-one support and guidance to children and young people
- Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement individualised support plans
- Facilitating engaging activities and programmes to promote personal growth and development
- Building strong, trusting relationships with young learners and their families
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with organisational policies
To excel in this role, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong sense of empathy, and the ability to adapt to the unique needs of each child and young person. Relevant qualifications and experience in working with children and young people are highly desirable.
Our client offers a supportive and inclusive work environment, with opportunities for professional development and growth. The working hours for this position are 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with term-time only options available to suit your lifestyle.
Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS and reference checks
- Existing eligibility to live and work in the UK (sponsorship is not available)
