Designated Safeguarding Lead - Doncaster
£30,000 - £35,000 | Full Time (40 hours/week)

Our partner school in Doncaster is seeking a passionate and dedicated Designated Safeguarding Lead to ensure every child is safe, supported, and able to thrive in a nurturing environment. You will lead safeguarding efforts, collaborate closely with staff and external agencies, and help create a protective, caring space where all students can flourish.

Key responsibilities include:

Supporting students with individual needs, helping them build confidence and prepare for the future

Leading safeguarding practices to ensure robust protection across the school

Providing excellent pastoral care to all pupils

Contributing to school improvement plans focused on student wellbeing

Identifying and reporting safeguarding trends to senior leaders

Building strong partnerships with professional services and the wider community

Keeping accurate records of behaviour incidents

Supporting behaviour and safeguarding initiatives across the school

Requirements:

Passionate about supporting students with SEND

Minimum 2 years' experience working in SEND or a similar setting

Committed to the responsibilities of a Designated Safeguarding Lead

Previous experience in school safeguarding essential
