Summary
We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our ctrg team as an Experienced Machine Operative in Sherburn in Elmet, LS25 6JH.
Pay rate as a Machine Operative:
- Day shift: £12.74 p/h
- Overtime after 40 hours £19.11
Typical hours as a Machine Operative:
- Day shift: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 6am until 6pm
- Night Shift: Sunday, Monday Tuesday 6pm until 6am
- Day and night shift: Monday, Tuesday 6am to 6pm, Wednesday, Thursday 6pm to 6am
- Working days/nights rotation
The Machine Operative role includes:
- To comply with safe work systems
- To complete daily, monthly, weekly cleaning as per cleaning schedules to the correct standard
- To complete relevant CCP (critical control point) checks and in the correct time frame
- To monitor asset performance and raise any actions required
- To ensure following the correct works orders and completing all regular checks
- To ensure that the quality and integrity is followed throughout the production process
- To adhere to the packing plan
- To comply 100% with all QAS standards
Skills, Knowledge, Experience & Qualification:
Essential
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Experience of training others/coaching and the ability to confirm understanding when managing staff
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work within a team
- Ability to work to targets
- Flexibility to work within other areas of the business as required
Desirable
- Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification (or equivalent)
- Level 2 Health and Safety qualification (or equivalent)
- Experience of training others/coaching
- Full UK driving license
- Food industry experience
