Warehouse Operative - Corby - Earn £12.80 to £14.72 per hour - Temporary to Permanent - Apply Now!

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to work with our client Smyths Toys in Corby. You will be working in a busy distribution centre, helping to ensure smooth operations, especially during seasonal peaks.

Shift Patterns:

  • 06:00 - 16:00 or 07:00 - 17:00

  • 5 days a week, including weekends

Pay Rates:

  • £12.80 - £14.72 per hour

As a Warehouse Operative you will need to have:

  • Previous warehouse experience (advantage but not essential)

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment

  • Good attention to detail and accuracy in handling stock

  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and peak periods

  • Reliability, punctuality, and strong teamwork skills

Role of a Warehouse Operative:

  • Unload, check, and store incoming stock

  • Accurately pick and pack orders for stores and customers

  • Operate pallet trucks and forklifts (training provided if needed)

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace in line with health & safety guidelines

  • Assist with stock counts and inventory checks

  • Work with colleagues to meet operational targets and deadlines
