Working Pattern: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.

This in an exciting opportunity to join the Executive Reporting & Insight (ER&I) team within Commercial Performance & Enablement (CP&E), where our key goal is to lead the executive performance conversation in BCB through the production of accurate, clear & impartial reporting of BCB's progress across all aspects of executive performance.

About this opportunity:

Executive Reporting Managers play an integral role within our operations, each aligned to a Managing Director's office to cultivate a thorough understanding of all balanced scorecard metrics, key must win initiatives, and board metrics. To succeed in this role, you'll demonstrate your existing BCB experience with excellent communication skills, engendering trust with key partners to build a genuinely deep understanding of executive performance and tell this story through the production of meaningful insight.

What you'll be doing:

  • Ownership of executive reporting expectation & performance, covering your business area's contribution towards BCB CEO balanced scorecard measures, Board metric submissions & must win commitments

  • Building a comprehensive partner network across these executive performance measures, facilitating a deep understanding of quantitative and qualitative headwind & tailwinds which underpin each executive performance measure

  • Identification of insight or data gaps for which the wider team can be deployed on a project basis to rectify through the building of robust BI/MI solutions

  • Collaboration with other ERMs and support of Senior Analyst development

What you'll need:

  • Excellent Communication & Partner Management ability: A key aspect of success in this role is your ability to engender trust and build robust relationships with key colleagues within your specialist area of BCB

  • Strong Commercial Awareness: You must have a deep understanding of at least one business unit within the Business and Commercial Banking environment with a proven track record of using commercial insight to support effective decision making.

  • Experience in an Analytics or MI team: Prior experience in a similar role where you've worked with large datasets and used tools such as Power BI and Excel
