Summary
Providing holistic care to our patients unable to attend the surgery and input into the future development of the team and the care being provided. Undertake a number of clinical procedures, such as Venepuncture, ECG, manual blood pressure measurements and other basic observations. Perform memory checks Diabetic foot checks Ensure clinical practice is safe and effective, and remains within boundaries of competence. Advise patients on health care and minor ailments (if trained to do so) with referral to other members of the primary and secondary healthcare team as necessary Participate in the administrative and professional responsibilities of the Practice Team Ensure accurate and legible notes of all consultations and treatments are recorded in the patients computer record Ensure accurate completion of all necessary documentation associated with patient care Ensure collection and maintenance of statistical information required for regular an ad-hoc reports and audits Attend and participate in Practice meetings
