Van Drivers will be asked to complete deliveries in a 3.5 ton temperature controlled Van to commercial clients in Hospitality, Catering, Retail and Wholesale or any business operating a commercial kitchen.
The start times will be approx 5.00 am if doing a longer distance run going into the Western home counties of London or 7.00 am start for local standard runs.
The first task for the Van drivers will be to order pick the goods you are delivering from the warehouse.
The driver will need to then load the route onto the Van in the order provided by the route planners. This must not be changed without authorisation.
The company are based in Hedge End Southampton and there is plenty of free parking on site.
As a Van driver you will be doing a very customer facing job and will have a regular Run. Van drivers will often get to know the customers very well. Having strong customer service skills and good communication is important.
The standard working day is approx 8 hours.
Subject to the successful completion of a trial period you will be offered a full time job.
The hourly rate of pay for a Van driver is £12.45 per hour Monday to Friday for minimum 40 hours. Saturday or Bank Holidays paid at 315,33
The Van driver role has an immediate start
Full training will be provided.
