Your new role
We currently have a vacancy for a Payroll Assistant for one of our clients located in their Cornwall office. You'll be responsible for processing weekly and monthly payrolls for a portfolio of clients, handling starters and leavers, calculating holiday pay, statutory payments, and ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations. The role also involves responding to client queries and supporting the wider payroll team.
What you'll need to succeed
You'll have previous experience in a payroll role, ideally within an accountancy practice or bureau environment. Strong attention to detail, good organisational skills, and familiarity with payroll software (such as BrightPay, Sage Payroll, or similar) are essential. A working knowledge of current payroll legislation and RTI submissions is also required.
