Summary
Due to continued growth FAB24 are looking to recruit a fabricator welder
THE MAIN DUTIES INCLUDE :
Oversee the selection and procurement of materials and equipment required for TIG welding. Read and interpret drawings.
Measure and align workpieces using straightedges, clamps, and callipers.
Perform TIG/MIG welding on light gauge materials (1mm- 3mm) such as aluminium, stainless steel and mild steel.
Ensure welding operations meet set specifications and construction requirements.
Carry out grinding and thermal cutting operations to obtain various textures and sizes for metal parts. Oversee the set-up of TIG welding equipment.
Operate power and hand tools such as grinders, orbital sander, hand drills etc.
Maintain good working knowledge of the welding characteristics of metals such as stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel.
Ensure welding operations meet set specifications and construction requirements. Ensure compliance with established health/safety policies and regulations.
Carry out preventative maintenance and repair.
You will be required to undertake a weld test.

Monday - Thursday - 08:00 to 16;45
Friday - 08:00 to 15.00
