The School ESOL are looking for an experienced and suitably qualified tutor, with a degree or higher in Maths.

The successful candidate will teach across Functional Skills Maths to ESOL learners and GCSE Maths to adults and preferably have the experience of teaching across all levels. This role would be suitable for someone with an understanding of ESOL and adult learners and the ability to deliver innovative learning opportunities to meet their needs.

We welcome applications from experienced and newly qualified teachers, who can demonstrate their enthusiasm and have a desire to work with adult learners. FE or community teaching experience and a formal teaching qualification is desirable, although if you are willing to obtain your teacher training qualifications, we would also like to hear from you.

The successful applicant will need to be available to work Tuesday and Wednesday evenings until 9pm at our Barnfield Campus in Luton. This is a fixed term 0.8fte role, working 30 hours a week, to cover maternity leave for one year.

The closing date for applications is Monday 18th August 2025. Interviews will take place week commencing 1st September 2025.

You’ll have the full support of a dynamic team and opportunities to bring your ideas to the role. Training and development are at the heart of everything we do so you’ll be encouraged to upskill.

We have a free on-site gym at our Watford Campus and you can access a wide range of discounts and benefits including a cycle to work scheme, free on-site parking, pension, generous holiday scheme, time off at Christmas and early finishes on a Friday.
