Painter / Handyman – Hotel Maintenance – Cambridge
We are looking for a reliable Painter and a multi-skilled Handyman/Labourer to support hotel maintenance work in Cambridge. This is a flexible, ad-hoc role with shifts scheduled according to client needs – ideal for someone looking for variety and weekly pay.
Position Overview:
Role: Painter/Handyman – Hotel Maintenance Person
Location: Cambridge
Pay: from £13.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Hours: Ad-hoc, flexible shifts.
Key Responsibilities
• Carry out painting and decorating to a high standard in guest rooms and public areas
• Assist with general hotel repairs and basic maintenance tasks
• Support with minor carpentry, plumbing or electrical fixes (if experienced)
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and with minimal disruption to guests
• Report any issues or hazards to the maintenance manager
Requirements
• Proven experience as a painter, handyman, or general labourer
• Good attention to detail and pride in quality work
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Flexibility to work shifts at short notice
• Professional and reliable attitude, suitable for a hotel environment
