Responsibilities: Here's what your journey with us entails:

Assist the Chef de Partie in preparing ingredients, cooking components of dishes, and assembling plates according to recipes and specifications.
Manage a designated section of the kitchen, such as sauces, vegetables, or desserts, under the guidance of the Chef de Partie.
Ensure food quality and presentation by adhering to portioning and plating standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in your work area, including workstations and equipment.
Support team collaboration by coordinating tasks and communicating effectively with other kitchen staff.
Handle food ingredients properly, following hygiene and safety procedures to ensure freshness and quality.
Assist in training junior staff and commis chefs, providing guidance and support.
Monitor inventory and stock levels for your section, reporting shortages and assisting with orders.
Participate in quality control measures, including taste testing and visual inspection of dishes.
Safety and Company Policies:

Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures.
Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
Complete safety training and certifications.
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
Communicate with others using clear and professional language.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.
Support the team to reach common goals.
Listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience in a customer service role.
Supervisory Experience: None required.
