We are currently recruiting a Business Case and Approvals Manager to proactively engage and support colleagues across Defence Digital in the monitoring, management and throughput of high-quality business cases through the Approvals Process.
Responsibilities include:
Owning and developing Defence Digital’s guidance and templates to support delivery of high-quality business cases and enable their smooth progress through the approvals process.
Ownership, development, and communication of training materials.
Maintaining the Business Case Centre of Excellence (BCCOE) SharePoint site.
Monitoring and tracking project delivery teams’ business cases through the approvals process lifecycle from initiation to approval, identifying issues, capturing lessons and recommending areas for focus to drive improvement.
Analysing data and preparing monthly reports for the Defence Digital Senior Leadership Team.
Monitoring and responding to changes in processes and communicating these to the wider Directorate.
Assisting in capturing and monitoring the wider benefits of the Centre of Excellence and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Liaising with delivery teams, scrutiny colleagues, and Director Finance to enable effective Board meetings and accurate recording of decisions.
Undertake development training to further increase the scope of the role.
