Summary
The post holder will help with the administration tasks and support the use of Pathology IT applications. This will include out of hours cover and travel to other hospital sites. To work effectively with other members of the team to achieve team goals, developing and maintaining effective and professional working relationships with colleagues. To attend all mandatory training sessions. Participate in the training of Pathology users. Undertake training and study as necessary to ensure that a high level of personal professional knowledge and expertise is achieved and maintained. Always maintain the principles of patient confidentiality. Comply with all legislative obligations, including the Data Protection Act, the Health and Safety at Work Act, C.O.S.H.H and departmental policies. Any other duties commensurate with the level of the post as determined by the Operational Manager Pathology Support Services.
