Summary
Self Employed Personal Assistant Required- Preston (PR2)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Personal Assistant to provide support to a gentleman both in his own home and within the local community.
The main role will be to act as social support for this gentleman by attending appointments, helping him develop confidence in social situations whilst also getting out, helping him learn to cook, budget and learn life skills.
Experience or knowledge of working with someone with Autism is preferable but not essential.
This role does not include any personal care but there will be a need for some light domestic duties including meal preparation and prompting engagement in everyday life.
A driver with a clean license eligible to drive mobility car for business purposes to take client to appointments.
Hours can be worked flexibly by negotiation. Main hours will be worked midweek between 10am or 11am until 4pm or 5pm, evening shifts and weekend shifts are available hours will range between 15-30 hours per week.
