When you join Your Trust as an Active Living Development Coordinator you will be part of a charity based in Rochdale that aims to
support every member of our diverse community to live their best life; inspiring them to be healthier, happier and creative

As an Active Living Development Coordinator we can offer you:

Salary: Band 4, £29,094 – £32,591 per annum (pro-rate for part time)

Hours: 15 hours per week (minimum three days per week)

Location: Hybrid Working – Office and Home




What will my role be as an Active Living Developement Coordinator

The purpose of the job is to provide a professional, efficient and high quality service to customers of Your Trust. This includes
supporting the Specialist Health and Wellbeing Team with the planning, development and delivery of their offer across the Borough
such as developing delivery plans, working with diverse and hard to reach communities, assisting with the establishment of
partnerships and relationships with stakeholders, providing advice and support to community groups and improving the health and
wellbeing of the community.

In addition, support will be given to working with the Exercise Referral Lead in the delivery of the Exercise Referral Scheme,
undertaking health and lifestyle consultations with referral clients, inputting data and processing and monitoring clients using
the Elemental Platform.




What do I need to have?

* Qualified to Level 4 or equivalent in a sport science of a health related discipline
* Hold Level 3 GP Referral qualification
* Hold Level 4 Cardiac qualification
* Experience of development and delivery of health and fitness opportunities including 1-1 and group sessions
* Experience of exercise and contra-indications
* An understanding of local health and social needs and priorities and community focused health improvement interventions
* Experience of working with a variety of people, including those with complex health or medical requirements
* Understanding of health conditions and the implications when delivering safe, effective and appropriate physical activity
opportunities
* Must be proactive, enthusiastic, able to use own initiative and work flexibly to deliver the service and as part of a Team
* Friendly, outgoing person who has excellent communication skills with both children and adults
* Excellent communication; both oral and written and excellent interpersonal skills
* Excellent time management skills
