Commissioning Engineer – EICA role:
• We are seeking a Commissioning Engineer to join our Construction team, based on-site within the Severn Trent Region
• Reporting directly to the Commissioning Manager, you will be responsible for managing all commissioning activities, ensuring work is carried out safely, in line with company procedures, specifications, and best practices
Commissioning Engineer – EICA responsibilities:
• Perform the duties and responsibilities of a Commissioning Engineer, delivering schemes safely and in compliance with all requirements
• Review and monitor MEICA-related project risks
• Attend commissioning system inductions and toolbox talks
• Coordinate with the design team to ensure commissioning requirements are included at the design stage and within the project scope
• Review design documents such as functional design specifications (FDS), equipment and instrument lists, P&IDs, control philosophies, and telemetry requirements
• Develop and review compliance and commissioning plans in line with the design intent
• Oversee and approve FAT, SAT, and witness process tests
• Compile commissioning documentation and required deliverables
• Provide input for commissioning strategy reviews and related documents
• Coordinate with subcontractors on commissioning deliverables and interfaces
• Support the preparation of training materials and participate in training sessions
• Support the review and preparation of O&M manuals
• Distribute commissioning logs, daily diaries, and relevant updates from engineers
• Assist in preparing takeover reports
• Collaborate with the full scheme delivery team
Commissioning Engineer – EICA requirements:
• Demonstrated experience in electrical commissioning
• Extensive site experience in water and/or water recycling operations
• Practical understanding of water and/or water recycling processes
• Valid clean UK driving license
