We Offer:
Join us in an Estates Officer role. This is a Fixed Term 2-year Contract. You will support the Property and Compliance Manager by supervising the grounds maintenance and estate services across our 1450 homes on behalf of Pickering & Ferens Homes.

Key responsibilities include:
• Regular inspections of grounds maintenance areas and facilities to always ensure excellent quality across estates and compliance with specification.
• Working with contractors to ensure quality, resolve issues and deliver improvements.
• Engaging residents ensuring suitable and active communication on the service, including regular visits (where required) and driving the resident voice through the service.

• Being an advocate for Health and Safety throughout our neighbourhoods by being mindful of issues and the needs of our residents.

• Providing admin support to the Property and Compliance Team including support on invoicing, gaining compliance certificates, and order processing as well as writing letters, emails, and responding to telephone enquiries in relation to the service.

The ideal candidate will have:
• Experience in grounds maintenance, horticulture, or estate services
• Good working understanding of Health & Safety legislation and safeguarding
• Strong communication, administration and customer service skills
• Confidence working independently and as part of a team
• A valid driving licence (essential)
• Knowledge of housing is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to produce reports and collate relevant performance data
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages

Location: Our office is located at 7 Beacon Way, Hull, HU3 4AE.
