Millison Chase Limited is looking for experienced HGV Class 2 drivers to work with our client,
Our client is a larger well established distribution company looking fulltime ongoing HGV Class 2 to join their expanding team, with temporary to permanent roles available.
Job Description:
This is a temporary ongoing role for a HGV Class 2 drivers with Millison Chase Limited working within our client’s depot, some permanent positions available.
As a HGV Class 2 Driver you will be responsible for daily deliveries, ensuring the safe transportation of goods and maintaining accurate records of delivery schedules.
Shifts can be long but are in keeping with in law and legislation.
The job itself will consist of delivering various loads with use of a ridged curtain sided lorry delivering to both businesses and homes on varied routes, normally 1 to 15 drops.
There is handball on this job using a pallet or sack truck and underslung tale lift, some deliveries you will be with a driver's mate dependant on load.
Qualifications
Valid UK HGV Class 2 license
Experience with daily deliveries and transportation of goods
Strong knowledge of road safety regulations
Excellent communication and time management skills
UK CPC card
UK digi Card
No more than 6 penalty points and only SP codes allowed
1 year driving experience for insurance Purposes
Pay
Days Mon to Fri £14.50 per hour
Nights Mon to Fri £15.50 per hour
Nights out £25 per night out
Weekends £17.00 per hour
