DWP Digital are looking for people to join their Business Management Teams. Business Management teams are at the very heart of enabling the organisation to run effectively and deliver successfully. They are fundamental in planning Digital Group’s business objectives, establishing clear connections between planned activity, the resource it uses and the funding it consumes – driving strategy and more effective decision making.
As an Associate Digital Performance & Planning Manager you will be part of a team providing essential business management services to help measure and drive better performance. This includes the effective management of workforce planning, demand and recruitment governance, financial assurance and compliance.
You will:
- Collaborate in researching, organising and analysing data and information.
- Assist in the design & implementation of a Workforce plan, helping to identify demand and monitoring recruitment (supply) against the demand and within Budget.
- Support with the design of Performance Dashboards, Scorecards and Data Visualisations that help people better understand the work of teams.
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies e.g. on compulsory training, accommodating accessibility, health and safety improvements and the efficient use of costly IT equipment by staff.
- Support the Finance Team with budgeting, forecasting and reporting to provide financial assurance on delivery of business outcomes.
- Help with the design & implementation of Key Performance indicators to measure deliverables outlined in the functional Business Plan.
- Assist in the development and delivery of the functional business plans including aspects such as people resourcing, budgeting and monitoring delivery of successful outcomes.
- Advise, guide, negotiate and communicate with senior staff or with other people in/outside Digital Group, providing information, briefings and performance metrics.
- Communicate with Commercial Business Partner to understand the commercial impact on the business plan.
