We're looking for a Handyperson to join our Ministry of Justice FM team based in South London.



Location: South London

Hours: 40 hours per week - Mon to Fri 08:00 to 17:00



What will you be responsible for?As a Handyperson, you'll be working within the Ministry of Justice FM team, supporting them in delivering Facilities Management Hard & Technical Services across the National Probation Service Estate.

Your day to day will include:

-Carrying out general maintenance such as fixing carpeting, hanging items, patching paintwork, and minor plumbing repairs

-Performing reactive and planned maintenance tasks across multiple sites

-Supporting site inspections, updating records, and ensuring building services are functioning correctly

-Collaborating with clients and team members to maintain a safe and pleasant environment

-Promoting wellbeing and inclusive practices across the workplace



What are we looking for?This role of Handyperson is great for you if:

-You have previous experience in general maintenance within occupied properties

-You hold relevant industry qualifications, including CSCS card and certifications like Working at Height/IPAF/PASMA

-You have a Full UK driving licence and are willing to participate in a callout rota (1 week in 4)
