Night Chef De Partie - Preston

£14.77 per hour 37.5 hours per week

Monday - Friday 9.30pm - 5.30am

We’re looking for a skilled and passionate Night Chef de Partie to join us at our workplace restaurant in Preston. As part of Dine You’ll be creating high-quality, fresh dishes in a professional, people-first kitchen that values teamwork, quality, and consistency.

About the role

  • Confident in lone working and managing the night shift

  • Creating delicious dishes using fresh ingredients, with care and consistency.

  • Supporting the Sous and Head Chef with service, menu delivery, and day-to-day operations.

  • Assisting with training and mentoring junior chefs and kitchen assistants.

  • Maintaining excellent food hygiene and allergen control (HACCP knowledge essential).

  • Keeping your work area clean, organised, and service-ready at all times.

About you

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or a strong Commis Chef ready to step up.
  • Passion for flavour, food presentation, and consistent quality.

  • Understanding of food safety standards, allergens, and hygiene best practices.

  • A team player with great communication and a strong work ethic.

  • A desire to grow and develop in a supportive culinary environment.

1st Stage interview will be via Teams and the 2nd Stage will be a Trade Test
