Summary

Deputy Home Manager – Children’s Residential Care
Join our team in providing high-quality residential support for children and young people. You’ll assist and deputise for the Home Manager, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, maintaining a safe and supportive environment, and upholding our policies and care standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the physical, emotional, and social development of young people.

  
  

• Oversee care plans, records, and administrative duties.

  
  

• Mentor and supervise staff, assist with recruitment and inductions.

  
  

• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and fire safety regulations.

  
  

• Respond to emergencies, cover shifts, and work across homes when required.

  
  

• Participate in training and team development.

  
  

  Requirements:

  • Experience in residential childcare and team leadership.

    
    

  • Strong organisational, communication, and safeguarding skills.

    
    

  • Flexibility for on-call duties, sleep-ins, and occasional relocation between homes.
