Summary

Join our team as an Ageing Well Communities Officer at East Lindsey District Council on an 18-month fixed-term contract



Would you like to make a difference in the lives of older adults? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our Ageing Well Communities Team.



East Lindsey has been recognised as an Age-friendly Community since 2019. We’ve made great progress towards our goal of making East Lindsey a great place to age well and enjoy a fulfilling later life. In this role, you will play a key part in sustaining and building on that progress. Working alongside the Ageing Well Lead and our partners, you will help design and deliver programmes that promote the wellbeing and active participation of older adults in our communities.



We are looking for someone with:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A good understanding of what supports people to age well
Experience of working with, and building trust among, community groups and organisations
A flexible approach and a willingness to travel across the district
