Responsibilities for the Warehouse Operative Role:
Pick, check, store and pack goods either manually or using RF technology to a high standard of accuracy.
- Load and unload trailers safely and in line with company procedures
- Report any errors, damages or quality issues found whilst undertaking duties.
- Accurate input of data into Company computer systems and manual records
- Work to standard operating procedures in line with company policy.
- Achieve the targets (KPIs) and job standards.
- Maintain high standards of site house-keeping
- Maintain high levels of Health and Safety awareness and report any areas of concern immediately.
- Assist with inventory counting and stock investigations when necessary.
- Put suggestions for improvements forward where appropriate.
- Assist other team members as necessary.
- Support Colleagues and Team Leader with all day to day tasks.
- To action any other elements to fulfil the operational needs of the business and undertake any other reasonable duties as allocated

Warehouse Operative EXPERIENCE:
Essential:
- Good communication skills and the ability to speak, read and write basic English
- Able to follow instructions
- Able to work under pressure to targets and deadlines
- Numerical and focused on accuracy.
- Basic computer literacy and experience of data inputting
- Awareness of Health & Safety regulations, including manual handling
- Good attention to detail.
- Able to work as part of a team
Desirable:
- Previous experience of working within a Warehouse environment
- Able to use initiative and identify issues at work and suggest options for improvement
- FLT Counterbalance and Reach Licence
Attributes:
- Will have a pleasant and helpful personality
- Be smart and professional in appearance
Have initiative and be able to work unsupervised
