Summary
Sheffield Business school is seeking an Impact Researcher.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in qualitative and quantitative research methods, managing secondary data management including spreadsheet modelling, producing research reports and related activities.
You will be working on diverse impact case projects, whilst supporting broader research initiatives to deliver a strong research culture, which will require a flexible approach and experience in multi-tasking skills. We are particularly interested in applicants from a business background such as logistics, tourism, urban regeneration), though applicants from other disciplines with strong research experience and capabilities are encouraged to apply.
The key purpose of the role of Impact Researcher is to capitalise on the work undertaken for the most recent Research Excellence Framework (REF) by researching, preparing and demonstrating the impact of our world-class research in preparation for the next REF exercise alongside supporting the development and delivery of improved REF submissions. Focusing on REF Impact Case development, this will include support for outputs and the subsequent impact of these outputs.
